Lisa Morton

Lisa Morton is a screenwriter and author whose books include The Cinema of Tsui Hark (2001), Savage Detours: The Life and Work of Ann Savage (2010), and The Art of the Zombie Movie (2023). Her film writing includes articles about George A. Romero, Soviet horror movies, and Mexican gothic cinema for Rue Morgue magazine; an examination of ghost-hunting movies for The Feminine Macabre Vol. VII; and interviews with screenwriters David J. Schow (The Crow) and Toby Poser (Hellbender) for Nightmare magazine. She lives in Los Angeles and online at lisamorton.com.
