Michael Haneke on the Storyboarding of Code Unknown
Michael Haneke’s 2000 drama Code Unknown is a formalist masterwork—its narrative, about a group of characters whose lives become entwined by an incident on the streets of Paris, unfolding almost entirely within a series of single-take vignettes. Our DVD and Blu-ray release of this fifth feature by the brilliant Austrian director includes a compelling new interview with him, covering everything from the experience of shooting the film's distinct sequence shots to working with the incredible Juliette Binoche. We're pleased to share a clip from the interview, featuring Haneke’s simple yet fascinating storyboards, which he created for each scene of the film.
