Lena Dunham in Boston
Thanks to the mega success of her award-winning HBO series Girls, now in its second season, Lena Dunham seems to be everywhere lately. Next up is Boston. On February 6, Dunham will be at the Museum of Fine Arts for a Q&A, following a screening of the movie that started it all for her, Tiny Furniture. That ruminative and hilarious take on the post-college experience of an aimless young woman who moves back in to her family’s Manhattan apartment was Dunham’s first team-up with her Girls costar Jemima Kirke. See them both in action in this scene from Tiny Furniture, in which Dunham’s character, Aura, butts heads with her little sister—played by Dunham’s real-life sister, Grace.
