Sarah Schulman

Sarah Schulman is a novelist, playwright, screenwriter, nonfiction writer, and AIDS historian. Her twenty books include Let the Record Show: A Political History of ACT UP New York, 1987–1993, and the novels The Cosmopolitans and Maggie Terry. Her feature-film credits include Mommy Is Coming and The Owls (both directed by Cheryl Dunye), Jason and Shirley (directed by Stephen Winter), and United in Anger: A History of ACT UP (directed by Jim Hubbard).
