Amy Abugo Ongiri

Amy Abugo Ongiri is a professor and the director of Ethnic Studies at the University of Portland. Their book Spectacular Blackness explores the cultural politics of the Black Power movement, particularly the Black Arts Movement’s search to define a “Black aesthetic.”
