Karen Tongson

Karen Tongson is the author of Why Karen Carpenter Matters and Relocations: Queer Suburban Imaginaries. She coedits the Postmillennial Pop book series at NYU Press with Henry Jenkins and cohosts the podcast Waiting to X-Hale with Wynter Mitchell-Rohrbaugh. She is chair of gender and sexuality studies and professor of English, gender, and sexuality studies and American studies and ethnicity at the University of Southern California.
